Free until the carton is taped

Cancel before the parcel is handed to the courier and nothing is charged. After that it becomes a return, which is slower for both of us.

Before dispatch

Orders can be cancelled free of charge at any point before dispatch. Write to care@mahadevdecor.shop with your order number; if the order has not yet been handed over, we stop it and confirm the same working day.

Most orders leave within 1-2 business days, so a cancellation is realistically a same-day decision — particularly in the weeks before Diwali, when we pack and dispatch twice a day.

After dispatch

Once the courier has the parcel we cannot recall it. Refuse the delivery or accept it and start a return under the return and refund policy; the return window is 10 days from delivery.

Prepaid order refused at the door

Refunded in 5-7 business days once the parcel is back with us.

Cash on Delivery, not yet dispatched

Nothing was charged, so there is nothing to refund.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and clear in 5-7 business days. That timing is the banking window under Reserve Bank of India settlement practice, not a fee or a holding period — we do not deduct a restocking charge at any point.

Orders we cancel ourselves

Occasionally a piece is damaged in our own stock check after you have paid, or a courier cannot reach your PIN. We tell you the same day, refund in full, and never substitute a different design without asking you first.
