Placing an order

An order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract only when we send the dispatch confirmation — until then we may decline it, for example when an item turns out to be damaged in our own stock, when a price is displayed in obvious error, or when a delivery address is outside our couriers’ network.

Photographs are taken of the goods we actually stock. Dyed fabric, marigold heads and hand-finished torans vary slightly between batches; colour on your screen also depends on your display. A variation of that kind is not a defect.

Statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits the rights Indian consumer law gives you. Where a term here conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.

No additional warranty is given through this store. Where a product page states a manufacturer’s warranty, that warranty applies on its own terms. What we answer for is the order itself — a replacement, or a refund of what you paid.

Price and GST

Not registered for GST — turnover stays under the applicable registration threshold in India, so GST is not charged separately and no GST tax invoice with a registration number is issued. The listed price is the amount payable. Shipping is added at checkout only when the order falls below ₹999.

Using the site

• Do not copy the photographs or the written descriptions on this site for commercial use.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its checkout or other customers’ orders.
• Reviews and messages you send must be your own and must not be unlawful or abusive.

We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.

Decoration and safety

Our items are decorative. Keep fabric garlands, paper lanterns and buntings clear of diyas, candles and open flame, and do not drape decoration over light fittings. Where a product includes a battery light, use the battery type printed on it.
